Day by Day
After a wholesome breakfast at the hotel in Zanzibar or with a packed breakfast, you will drive to the airport for the scheduled morning flight to Arusha. On getting at the airport, you will be welcomed and introduced officially to your professional driver guide who will then brief you on the itinerary before embarking on the drive to Tarangire National Park. Your game drive starts after you arrive at the park with the commonly seen animals being African bush elephants, Defassa waterbucks, Masai giraffes, blue monkeys, wildebeests, Cape buffalos, zebras, lions, common warthogs, impalas, spotted hyenas and ostriches among others.
You will enjoy your lunch at one of the picnic sites and while still on this game drive. You can expect sightings of striped Hyenas, marabou storks, Jackals, caracals, and leopards among others. Although rarely spotted. You'll bid farewell to Tarangire National Park after this rewarding wildlife discovery and drive to Arusha town for an overnight stay.

After breakfast, you will venture to Materuni village near Mount Kilimanjaro in northern Tanzania, a hidden gem awaiting discovery.
You will explore this secluded paradise through a 40-minute hike leading to a spectacular 90-meter-high waterfall, perfect for capturing breathtaking photos. Depending on weather conditions, you might even have the chance for a refreshing swim in the waterfall's plunge pool.
Additionally, immerse yourself in the welcoming culture and traditions of Materuni village by interacting with the friendly locals. You will enjoy a delicious Chagga lunch at a local home.
You will experience the captivating process of traditional organic coffee-making, accompanied by lively traditional songs and dances. This tour guarantees unforgettable memories before your journey back to Kilimanjaro Airport for your return flight to Zanzibar.
