Overview
This safari takes you through the great Selous(Nyerere National Park). You tour will begin and end in Dar es Salaam but the bulk of your time will be spent exploring the incredible game reserve. On the way to Selous, you will have lunch. Upon arrival, you’ll have an evening boat safari in the Rufiji River for 2-3 hours. You will participate in boat and walking safaris and marvel at the wildlife that calls this area home.

Day by Day
You will be picked up at the hotel 08:00am in the morning after breakfast and drive for 5-6 hours to Selous Nyerere National Park. Upon your arrival you will have hot lunch at the Camp followed by short rest. At 16:00pm enjoy evening Boat safari in the Rufiji River for 2-3 hours. There you will find a variety of birds species and a lot of crocodiles with hippos during your boat safari. In the evening, you will have an overnight stay at Selous Ngalawa Camp.

Leave the Camp this Morning with a packed lunch in hand ready for a full day game drive in Nyerere National Park which takes about 8 hours. Nyerere National Park is well known for its animals and boat safaris. Lions, elephants, zebras, giraffes (just to mention a few) can be found all over the park. After your game drive, you will return to the Camp Selous for dinner and your overnight stay.

Early in the morning at 06:30 am before breakfast, start a walking safari with an armed ranger and walking guide for about 2-3 hours. Afterwards, get back for breakfast at the hotel then drive to Dar es Salaam. On the way, you’ll enjoy your lunch.
