Day by Day
Your trip begins with a hotel pickup in Zanzibar to the airport. You’ll board a direct flight from Zanzibar to the Serengeti. This flight is typically a scenic 2-hour journey, offering spectacular aerial views of Tanzania’s landscapes, from the Indian Ocean coastline to the vast plains of the Serengeti. The flight will land at Seronera Airstrip. A private safari vehicle with a professional guide from Meru Slopes Tours & Safaris will be waiting for you. You'll get started exploring the Serengeti.
After a full-day game drive, you'll return to your lodge for a delicious dinner and a relaxing night's sleep.

After an early breakfast, you'll start your safari with a picnic lunch by following the migration. The wildebeest migration is one of the world’s greatest wildlife spectacles, offering thrilling moments of nature at its most raw and dramatic. Whether you're witnessing a river crossing, watching newborn wildebeest take their first steps, or simply taking in the endless horizons of the Serengeti plains, it’s a safari experience like no other.
Around sunset, after an unforgettable experience, you will return to your luxury lodge for a fantastic meal and a comfortable overnight stay.

After breakfast, you'll embark on a full-day safari with a picnic lunch in the bush. You'll experience the diversity of wildlife in different areas of the Serengeti with an exploration of the Big Five lion, elephant, buffalo, leopard, and rhinoceros.
The evening game drive will be followed by dinner and an overnight stay.
